Practical multi-purpose round belled tent for group camping. The capacity of the tent is 8 people. This type of tent results from army tents used during the Boer war (1899-1902). Some sources claim that Sahara was used by the British Army already during the Zulu campign.
This type of tent was used for different purposes during WWII, both by the members of the Czechoslovakian squadron in England and by our soldiers in the Middle East and in North Africa. Sahara is used to these days in different constructional variations in the original army use, over the beginnings of scouting up to (especially nowadays) various humanitarian missions.
We provide the tent as a complete set, that includes tent poles and accessories.
Material: Tents and canvases are made of fabric impregnated against mildew and rot. The bottom border of the tent is made of PVC to prevent humidity. The tent stands on a steel construction (20x1mm or 28x1mm).
